Sapienza Università di Roma: The MEMOTEF Department at Sapienza University of Rome coordinates the PartArt4OW project.The research team action-research methods focus on the analysis of the relation between society, ocean and water and the role of citizen science and participatory action-research processes in Marine Social Research. The team has long-standing experience in marine social geography, with the EU-funded projects she has already coordinated such as: “SeaPaCS. Participatory Citizen Science against Marine Pollution” (EU Horizon IMPETUS4CS 2023); “Tentacular Thinking. Experiencing underwater assemblages of nature-culture” (Culture Moves Europe 2024); “FishArt. Participatory Art for environmental sustainability and aesthetic transformation of Anzio Fishermen’s Harbour” (EU NEB Cross-KIC Connect 2024).
