PartArt4OW’s ecosystem is a dynamic network of artists, scientists, communities, and other stakeholders, all united in the mission to restore and protect Europe’s water bodies.
It brings the ecosystem to life, with a digital social mapping of key actors, past and ongoing research activities, projects, initiatives, as well as cultural products in Europe, in the field of art-science collaboration for ocean and water literacy and ocean and water conservation and restoration.
This digital environment was created using FirstLife platform, a geolocated civic social network developed by the University of Turin, offering an open access and open-source digital space, ensuring the ecosystem’s accessibility, expansion, and sustainability.
Through collaborations, shared resources, and mutual learning, this ecosystem aims to drive impactful, interdisciplinary projects that elevate sustainable practices and engage citizens across Europe.
Together, we’re building a supportive, creative environment where ideas grow, networks strengthen, and innovative solutions emerge for the health of our oceans and waterways.
